Do the carts come with a warranty?
JnT Manufacturing provides a limited one year warranty against defects in material and workmanship on their lavatory service carts. This warranty shall extend to the original purchaser of this product and to any person to whom this product is transferred during the warranty period. The warranty period shall begin on the date of the original purchase and is limited to repairing or replacing of a defective part. This warranty shall not apply if: 1) the product has been altered or modified from the original condition it had been purchased as, or 2) the product has been subjected to neglect, misuse, abuse, or damage from the result of improper operation.
Does the blue 4” hose need to be cleaned after each use?
Yes. Very thoroughly with warm water, preferably, after each use. Not doing so could potentially damage the hose.
Why powdercoat your carts?
Powdercoating is a baked finish and is much more durable than paint.
Why use a poly tank instead of a stainless steel tank?
Poly tanks are light weight and corrosion free plus you can determine the fill level by simply looking at the tank.
What’s the advantage of using a piston hand pump?
The pumps we use are specifically designed for chemical transfer. That means they have no parts on them that will corrode and cause seepage. There is no diaphragm that need to be replaced periodically. These quality built pumps eliminate the need to charge batteries or maintain a gas engine. In addition, this self-priming pump is double-acting which pushes fluid on both the upward and the downward stroke.
Do your connectors work with all types of aircraft?
We use only industry standard couplings that will accommodate any aircraft also using industry standard fittings. Adapters are available for those aircraft that do not follow industry standards.
How heavy is the cart?
The shipping weight of our lav cart is 225 lbs. It is tow tractor ready but still light enough for hand towing.
Does the waste tank need to be pumped or rinsed out after each dump?
The waste tank itself is pitched and beveled, plus the frame is also pitched. This allows for quick and complete gravity draining making for easy clean up.
How long does it take to receive the cart once it’s been ordered?
The orders are shipped within one week after receipt of a deposit. Once the order leaves here, it is typically delivered within 4 business days to most U.S. cities.
